Anita Boeker has taken her passions -- shopping, tourism and marketing -- and brings them together in her role as director of sales & marketing. She is responsible for coordinating corporate sales, marketing and public relations efforts, and assisting the company's properties with their tourism programs and special marketing projects.Anita joined the company in 1997 as director of marketing for Carlsbad Company Stores. Prior to that she was marketing manager for the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. During her 10+ year tenure, she was involved in the creation of many award winning campaigns and creating successful sponsorships with partners such as Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Eastman Kodak and Security Pacific Bank. Anita holds a bachelor's degree in finance from National University. In addition to her professional experience, Anita has been an active member of numerous tourism and marketing boards and associations.
